  1. Radio station suggestions:

89.3 FM (The Voice of the People!) – Honestly, I haven’t listened in a good long while, but I know they have some really cool shows.

101.1 FM – Classical music can be nice.

    Try 97.1 FM…

There used to be a really good AM station that played stuff from the ’40s and ’50s. I can’t for the life of me remember the exact station number or call letters, but I bet it wouldn’t be too hard to find. Try 1570 AM… that might be it.

  2. Filth says:

Thanks for the suggestions, Amelia. According to the billboards, I may be too old for 97.1…

  3. Filth says:

Thanks for the generous link, Ren!

    Good show, rock on.

Some good lines, Karl on Andrew’s hanging up, for lack of a better idea, on the guy who is suing him: “probably not the ideal chess move.” Andrew describes Deadliest Catch as “Hurray crabs! or Damn no crabs!”

The doormat doody story was such an unusual premise I wished you could have done more with it. Exactly what I don’t know. Just that (true) stories like that don’t happen every day. It’s more attention grabbing, for example, than a wacky bumper sticker.

If you had to recommend one or two shows from the archives as being the funniest, which one(s) would you point me to?

  5. Andrew Hime says:

One of the weird things about doing this “job” is that sometimes I’m stumped by what *I’m* talking about in the summaries. I’m delightfully cryptic that way. That said, the one from early November forward would be a good place to start if you have the time. The November ‘08 episode (#14) I think is the one where we talk about my car.. collision. People seemed to really enjoy that, and also the previous episode (#16) got a lot of positive feedback.

  6. Filth says:

Neil, thanks very much for your comments. Glad you enjoyed the show. It’s hard to look back on the podcasts and pick favorites, but I think #12 was pretty good, too.
#1-3 are probably only interesting to hardcore fans.

  7. Donald says:

    LoL, Karl wants feedback.

The ghetto story was great. I laughed hard.

The restaurant review was very informative. if I still lived in the DFW metro I would have checked out the Pho place. I always love some good Pho.

Actually I quite enjoyed the whole podcast. The religious talk was great too…lol

  8. Filth says:

Thanks, Donald! Andy and I take back all of the horrible things that we (mostly Andy) said about you. Seriously, that guy has some shocking ideas.
